After a very long and frigid winter, we are very pleased to look out of our office windows to see green grass, leafy trees, and the welcomed sight of moored boats in the waters of Cold Spring Harbor. Our team was eager and happy to get out the door and stay busy connecting with local schools, community partners, and hold in-depth discussions on local and national podcasts this spring.
Here is a closer look at what we've been up to lately.
On the Air: The Good Exchange Podcast is Growing!
Our Good Exchange Podcast on YouTube is officially thriving, and we are so grateful to our growing online community. We’ve been diving into deep, meaningful conversations on topics that matter most. Some of our recent discussions focused on Pride Month reflections, men's mental health issues, and when to start couple's therapy. Select episodes also include exclusive interviews with our very own clinicians including Liana, Lisa, and Nicole.
Want to tune in? Check out our latest episodes on YouTube to catch up on all our clinician interviews and deep dives.
Liana Ross Featured on Two Ts in a Pod!

We are unbelievably proud to announce that Liana Ross, LMHC, was recently featured as a guest expert on Two Ts in a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge—one of the top celebrity and pop culture podcasts in the country!
Liana joined the hosts to offer a therapist's perspective on the Summer House scandal, breaking down the complex relational dynamics and behavior of the cast. Instead of stiff clinical analysis, Liana brought the exact kind of real, honest talk that makes psychology feel relevant to the relationships we all live out every day.
If you follow Liana on Instagram, you already know she excels at translating messy, complicated human experiences into something accessible. This appearance was just the moment a much bigger audience got to hear it!
Out & About: Supporting Our Local Schools
Wellness Week at Northport High School
Peter and Marialaina spent time engaging with some truly amazing students at Northport High School's Wellness Week event. A highlight of the event was our interactive “Doodle Board” activity, where each student identified a trusted adult they can turn to whenever they need support.
Cold Spring Harbor High School Wellness Fair

On May 28th, Peter represented us at the Cold Spring Harbor Jr./Sr. High School Wellness Fair, which gathered an incredible array of local resources for students, staff, and parents alike. We are a long-time supporter of our local schools and are honored to be a part of this event once again.
Floral Park High School Resource Event

Also on May 28, Marialaina and Jess headed over to Floral Park Memorial High School to showcase our services to the local community. The team loved meeting with staff and students, and they even got a chance to catch up with our wonderful friend and colleague, Emily Dolan!
Professional Highlights & Clinical Expertise
Water Gap Wellness Conference

On Tuesday, May 12, Peter was invited to participate in a panel discussion on process addictions at the Water Gap Wellness Training Event. Peter shared his expertise on gambling and process addictions—an issue that has become increasingly prevalent across Long Island. It was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate and share knowledge with top professionals in the field.
New Team Photos

Keep an eye out for some fresh faces on our website and social media! The talented Erin Richler took pictures of our team at local spots around our offices in Cold Spring Harbor. Erin did a phenomenal job capturing not only who we are as clinicians but also the beautiful, local environment of Cold Spring Harbor that we are so lucky to call home.
Stay Tuned for Our New Learning Series
We are hard at work behind the scenes creating a brand-new, completely free Email Learning Series focused entirely on raising resilient kids. Stay tuned to your inbox in August for practical, actionable tips, and insights you can use right at home.
Thank you for taking the time to read our latest news and updates. With the long-awaited arrival of summer finally here, we hope you can find some extra time for rest, relaxation, and mental health wellness. If you find yourself in need of extra support, the team at Gooding Wellness is here all summer long. Send us a text, give us a call, or visit our website to speak with one of our professionals.
Be well, and have a happy and intentional summer with family and friends.
