This isn't your average therapy practice. Gooding Wellness Group is a hand-selected collection of 18 clinicians working together: Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) serving Cold Spring Harbor and Long Island's North Shore. Many group practices are built on newly licensed clinicians still building their hours. This collection is different: over 95% of our clinicians hold full licensure in New York State, and the group averages 18 years of clinical experience. Every clinician here was chosen deliberately, for specialized training, real-world experience, and the judgment that only comes from years of doing this work, across anxiety, depression, trauma, EMDR, addiction recovery, couples counseling, and child and adolescent therapy.

Founder and director Gordon Gooding, LCSW-R, a veteran school social worker and certified EMDR therapist, leads the practice alongside Peter Juliano, LCSW, CASAC. As a certified EMDR therapist, Peter manages daily clinical operations. Together, Gordon and Peter have assembled a collection of therapists dedicated to the highest professional standards. The criteria for joining this group remains unchanged since Gordon founded the practice, emphasizing the importance of providing the right support rather than simply any support.
 

Our clinicians see clients in person at our Cold Spring Harbor offices, serving Huntington, Northport, Oyster Bay, Syosset, and surrounding North Shore communities, and throughout New York State via teletherapy.
