I believe, with the right help, each one of us has the potential for growth after a loss or traumatic experience. While trauma doesn’t always come from grief, there is always grief as a result of trauma.

Drawing on my previous work in hospice and certifications in Palliative and End-of-life care and grief education, I recognize that grief and healing have no timeline. Each of us has our own unique needs when working through loss.

Together, we’ll identify the right methods for discovering and building on your natural strengths and abilities. In addition to my training in Social Work, I am a 500 hour registered yoga instructor, with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Using the grounding concepts of yoga, mindfulness, breath work, hypnosis, hypnotherapy, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), there are a variety of tools we can use to determine the best methods for helping you move beyond the obstacles holding you back.

Whatever your goals may be - managing anxiety or depression, recovering from trauma, counseling through grief and loss, weight release, or smoking cessation, for example - I recognize that we are all more than whatever it is we are seeking help with. As full human beings, our experiences play a significant role in who we are. My mission is to give you the support and help you need to remove the obstacles that keep you from creating and experiencing the life you want.
