NEW GROUP FORMING FOR APRIL 2020!
We are currently in the process of forming a group just for mothers and their infants that will begin in April 2020. This group intends to be a weekly meeting depending on the number of people interested.
This group is a wonderful opportunity to get connected with other mothers with infants! Clinical Social Worker and Parent Educator, Deborah Winters will be leading the group to answers for basic questions about being a mother and learning about your new baby, all while being supported by other mothers of newborns. Mothers are welcome to bring their infants ages 0-10 months. Common topics include postpartum feelings, new mother anxiety, staying connected to your spouse, finding time for self-care, caring for your new child, how to help siblings feel included, sleep and feeding schedules, and much more.
This group will be meeting weekly a weekday at 10:00 a.m. The cost will be $20 for each weekly session or $60 for a month of sessions beginning April 1st.
Mothers should bring baby, diapers/wipes, and feeding supplies, if needed. Breastfeeding mothers are welcome to nurse at this support group. You may also want to bring your Boppy. We do provide mats, and would appreciate a personal blanket be used on top of the mats.
Since many of our infants are quite young and we want to keep everyone healthy, we discourage older siblings from attending.
If you think you may be interested in joining this new group please fill out the form below and we will reach out to you regarding additional details.
